~ reverance 2013 ~
it’s that time of the year again: today, aina was performing in her mid-year ballet performance, the Reverance 2013. this was the first year when aina participated as a pre-ballet, in purple uniform.
i have become a master in bun-making and kiddy make-up from practicing in the past two performances. aina has learnt to regulate her nerves of being away from her parents for a period of time, thanks to the La Bayadere (her past performance).
and this time, we all have learnt from the past performance, that flower shops only opens half-day on Sundays, so we needed to buy flowers earlier… that way we don’t end up with big huge lollipop instead.
this year, though, not only aina’s Oma came to see her perform, but ari’s parents were also coming along. we were a big group. so, for the bouquette, there were 9 roses: three from mommy and daddy, three from oma, and three from popo and kungkung.
we didn’t get to take pictures during the performance (because we actually weren’t allowed), and the school usually takes forever to give out the pictures of the performance. so… no picture of aina in action :(
but she was happy afterwards, greeted by the whole family and was given praise by the Principal of Tsoying High School from Taiwan, whose dance troupe performed (amazingly beautiful!) in Reverance 2013 as a guest.
