~ philatelic museum - bunny wonderland ~
when we parked our bikes on our way to the Central Fire Station Building, we saw a banner hanging on the Singapore Philatelic Museum, and it says Bunny Wonderland…
bunnies! of course we have to come in and take a look! since the visit to the Civil Defence Heritage Gallery was short, we stopped by the philatelic museum right after. aina has never been into that museum.
it was hard to explain to her what this museum is about. what is a stamp? why do you write letters? can’t you just send emails? i don’t think aina has ever seen an old-skool stamp. we probably need to find penpals. the paper penpal, not the digital one.
and then, there is this thing.
but she was excited to type her name there. took her a long time and several punches to get it right, because she wasn’t strong enough to type on that machine. there are also rotary phones, which for some reasons, make more sense and were easier to explain to aina.
basically, aina thinks the Philatelic Museum is a museum for old things. whatever. we’ll deal with that later.
then, we followed the bunny trail… there were little bunnies on the walls, and if we follow them, it’ll lead us upstairs to the exhibition room.
the bunny wonderland turns out to be an exhibition about bunnies. about their habitat, eating habits, etc. and aina is the right target audience. she had a lot of fun in that room.
strangely, though, her favorite activities in that museum was in the Heritage Room, where she can wear the lion dance costume… she does have a weird obsession over lion dance. it’s a love and hate relationship, where she’s super scared of the drums, but she really wants to play with the lions.
Wah bagus sekali ya, Aina pasti suka. thumbs up for the parents.
hehe, lucu aja, soalnya barang2nya aina blum pernah liat… dia ngerasa mesin tik itu aneh hihihi.
