~ learning 2-wheels & aina’s artwork ~
since we’re looking for a smooth and flat ground, we took baby thyme to robertson quay by a cab. there, aina tried her bike with the training wheels off. it was a struggle at the beginning, and she was very nervous, even though ari was holding the saddle the whole time.
amazingly, once she stops thinking about the bike and the balance, she got better quickly and almost made it two-wheeled. it was when she tried to chase birds on the road… but as soon as the birds flew, she lost her balance again.
honestly, not bad. it was aina’s first time riding baby thyme without the training wheels. hopefully she’ll get better next time. the only problem with baby thyme is the brake is very hard to engage. the lever is too heavy for aina to pull, so she basically can’t brake. i think we need to fix this somehow…
after she finished chasing the birds with her bike, we took a break and visit the vanguard designs folks. aina had gift for jacinta: two of her drawings… 1 mickey (supposedly) and 1 doraemon. so check it out… aina’s mickey is now up on the display window of the store! :D

She’ll be up on two-wheels by herself in no time, I’m sure!! Kids learn so freakin’ fast, especially stuff like riding bikes or skiing that it makes me so jealous.
haha, it’s true, kids learn so fast!
the bike is still in the garage, getting the brake replaced. i can’t wait to get her out with the bike again, tho :D
It was her first time, not bad…and the Mickey is lovely.
hehe, iya, mickey is cute. doesn’t really look like mickey, tho :D
