expiration date 

we were so exhausted yesterday that we decided to slow down today. so, all we do today is just walking around kuta-legian-seminyak area.

the first thing we did in the morning was looking for a place to buy eyebrow pencil. you see, i left my make up pouch at home, and i can’t leave home without my eyebrow penciled. we were directed to a local supermarket in one of the alleyways, which reminds me to supermarkets that i used to go when i was only 5 years old, living in Bandung. it sells everything, from make up, fresh food and fruits, to plastic buckets and furnitures. it’s dark, crowded and has no AC. it brought back so much memory of my childhood.

after we bought the eyebrow pencil, we went to meet with Amel & Yurra, who happened to be visiting Bali as well. they’re leaving for Bandung this afternoon, though. we met up at the Seafood House Restaurant in Kuta and had Peking Duck for lunch… yes, Peking Duck at a seafood restaurant :)

after lunch, we walked around Kuta Beach, which was very hot in this weather. no one was on the beach, everyone is squeezed under the shades. and we found a gigantic tortoise model on the side of the beach. aina loved it…

and she loves the smaller one better. she said it’s the mom and the baby :)

We passed Poppies Lane 2 along with many constructions and litte shops.

after walking through Poppies Lane 2, amel & yurra separated and we walked back to the hotel to cool down at the Hotel’s pool. they have such a cute pool and the water is very warm. aina couldn’t get enough of the pool and we had so much fun :D

and the snacks aren’t so bad, either :)

that night, we walked around Seminyak area (and met a store full of wooden cats) and dinner at Kopi Pot restaurant at Legian.
