~ bali day 1: arriving ~
we had to wake up early: 6:30am. so that way we could kiss koda goodbye and leave the house at 8am, check in at the airport, grab a breakfast and take off at 10:35am to Bali. waking up early is our bane, but today everything went well. ari had time to smoke, aina and i had time to go to the bathroom… all good.
and the flight went well too, with only minor kicks on the back of aina’s seat from a whiny little kid behind her. i tried to sleep during the flight, but aina was wide awake and that makes it harder for me to fall asleep. especially when she keeps asking me questions and moving around on my lap.
we landed on-time, and the weather was perfect. no rain.
as soon as we got into the hotel (we’re staying at Adi Dharma Cottage), i was hoping that we can walk around the area, looking for a pair of bikinis… i wanted a new one. but we hadn’t had lunch yet, and it was 2:30 in the afternoon… aina was starving.
we ordered our lunch at Nasi Bali restaurant while waiting for our room to be cleaned. i had Ayam Betutu, which is supadupa yummy! sooo good!
we got a huge room… i think it was two rooms turned into one. the bathroom is almost three times as big as our bathroom in singapore. and aina loves the bed.
we ended up taking our nap. well, ari worked (he had some meetings and emails to catch up with), aina and i napped. i woke up within half an hour, but aina seemed to be dead tired. we had to wake her up before sun down.
we then walked to the beach. man, kuta beach is so photogenic… even during a partly cloudy day like today, the photos turn out very well.
aina didn’t want to leave. first, she wanted to build a sandcastle. then, she wanted to play with the water. she kept saying that, “i really, REALLY love the sand… i really, REALLY love the waves!”
i think it was her first time playing on a soft-sand beach like Kuta. not the coarse sand in singapore… she was amused on how soft the sand was, and how cute were those little white crabs running around and digging holes on the beach…
by the time we could drag her out of the beach, the sky had turned totally dark. and we got lost on the way to the hotel… :P

aaaah. sounds so nice. nataya malah takut ngeliat kepiting2 kecil itu -__-’ ga berani nginjek pasirnya, takut digigit dia :))
kita ga bilangin kalo si kepiting bisa gigit, hihihi. aina lagi suka binatang laut nih, jadi kebetulan aja…
tapi ternyata dia malah takut ama lautnya… payah, takut ombak dia!

Waaa… ke Bali!
Nginap di hotel apa Thal, kayanya bagus tuh? Aina takut ombak nggak, kan jauh beda sama “ombak” pantai di SG.. :)
Nice photos!
ternyata… takut! kalo yang di kuta, masih ga takut, begitu ke yang di nusa dua area, ciut gitu dia… maunya main pasir jauh2 dari air… payah deh, hu hu hu… padahal ibunya pengen berenang…
