janet jackson live, in singapore… i never thought i’d be going to see her singing live. i was a huge fan of her’s during my highschool years (and a bit of my college years). but i realized that right now, i don’t have any of her CDs or even MP3s with me. i was hoping i could still remember all the words of her songs… and all the dance moves that i used to memorize (yep, i did).

well, well, it turned out to be quite easy. all those things came back to me the instant i heard her singing.

so, the moment we stepped into the Singapore Indoor Stadium, cynthia and i turned into two giggly, awkward teenagers, forgetting that we have kids waiting at home.

we sang along, jumped along, danced along… thank you, cynthia dear, for the best seats we got!

ms. janet was pretty. and her voice was beautiful. and she can still dance like she was 20 years old.

i have always imagined that if i were to watch janet jackson live, i’d be in my teens, surrounded with big-haired, baggy-jeans-wearing girls with big-looped earrings, bright red lipsticks on, screaming and dancing around. well, it was sorta like that, except that everyone was in their thirties… or above.
