expiration date 

yay, we’re done decorating the house for tomorrow Halloween’s trick or trick night. so, you’ve met the two ghosts above… i LOVE the way they turned out. it’s much better than i had imagined earlier this week. they’re basically the only halloween decoration we have this year (along with some spiderweb on the front gate). but i think they have a pretty big impact that we don’t need to add anything else.

the ghosts started out with just two large lantern lamp from IKEA, loooong white and lightweight fabric, and long wires.

with a little bit of snipping and sewing, they’re done… the faces was made out of black paper, cut into shapes and glued with double-stick tape for easy removal (when i have to wash the ghosts).

aina had a lot of fun playing with the two ghosts. too bad that not long after the sun went down, the thunderstorm started. i don’t want to get the ghosts wet, so they are currently sleeping on our floor, next to our home-office. snowy was sleepy, too, so he joins them:

the other thing that we finished tonight is wrapping all the candies into little pumpkin crepes. we did this last year, too, and it was fun. i think we’ll do it every year.

once i finish aina’s bunny feet slippers and i can find my witch hat that i used last year (where the hell did i put it!?), then we’re ready for tomorrow’s Trick or Treat night.
