an afternoon at the Chinese Garden

after a long week of sickness and recuperation, what better way than walking in a park on a cool sunny late afternoon. we’ve been to the botanic gardens so many times. so this time, we’re going to the Chinese Garden.

this garden is not within walking distance. it’s about 4-5 MRT stops away. so we can’t bring koda with us. well, Chinese Garden prohibits pets anyway…

speaking of pets…

an afternoon at the Chinese Garden

by the time we got there, the Bonzai Garden was already closed (at 6pm). in front of the Bonzai Garden, there were two big trees (supposedly) shaped like foo dog, which i thought was pretty neat. those trees are 280 years old, imported from China. those eyes are not a part of the tree, though… although i have to admit, if it has no eyes, i won’t be able to tell that it was a foo dog.

oh, i didn’t know there is such place where you can take pictures wearing chinese costumes in singapore… if there were, i think it would be in Chinatown, instead of here, because that’s where the tourists go.
