expiration date 

look! i just lost about 30+ centimeters of my hair… and i love it!

i have soooooo been waiting for this haircut. for months and months, i debated with myself (and sometimes with ari) whether i should chop by hair. i was bored with the haircut, and i hate the straightening effect from the re-bonding treatment i did about a year ago… bad mistake. will never do that again.

today, i finally decided to make an appointment with my hairdresser, only to find out that he’s away on vacation for two and a half weeks… what a long vacation! and by the time he gets back, i’m already gone for New Zealand… gah.

so, i took a chance and made an appointment with another hairdresser in the same salon (Tony&Guy)… can’t you tell that i’m that fed up with my long hair? the Singapore’s weather helped me making my decision, too…

a few other things:

• my hair is now wavy… very wavy! supposedly, people’s hair change after they give birth. before i have aina, my hair used to be really straight. but now, with all the straightening effect is gone, i can really tell that it is wavy… hello cowlicks!
• i think i look better and more fresh in short hair, although i’m more photogenic with long hair… (although that photos above doesn’t really agree with this statement…).
• as soon as i got home and looked in the mirror, i sense a de javu… hey, i did this seven years ago! on the same month, too!
• aina was confused. when i still had long hair, i tied it in ponytail almost all the time. aina doesn’t like me in ponytail, so she often tell me to “take it off” — as in “take off your hairband”. when she saw the new haircut, she told me that she liked it. “bagus!”, she said, which means “good”. but about an hour to two later, she kept telling me to “take it off”… i had to show her over and over again, that there is no hairband, and the long hair is gone…. uh oh.
