~ upgrading the site? ~

i’ve been getting tons of spam from this site, both on the email and on the comments. that’s why i took down the comment form from all entries. maybe it’s time to upgrade the blog engine. this site has been using MovableType version 2.x. supposedly, the newer version has a much better spam control. the only reason i haven’t been upgrading is that i really like the threaded comment and the newer engine doesn’t support that…
ahh, i’m still undecided…
