expiration date 

on thursday, aina turned two months old. happy monthly birthday, girl :)

so, what happened in the last month?

…she’s big enough to fit in her carrier, so now we take her everywhere using the carrier.

…she likes to go to malls. it’s cool and she can sleep soundly in the carrier compare to our AC-less house.

…she’s grown a lot compared to a month ago. mostly because, she had that weight problem. after all that catching up, i think, she’s now up to the weight that she’s supposed to be. she gained almost 1.5kg in the past month and now has pretty thick thighs and cheeks. yay!

…she can no longer fit into some of her old nappies.

…she lost her hair! the baby hair on her back and upper arms are pretty much gone. some of her hair on her head fell off and end up all over her bathtub and sleeping cot. her forehead has gotten even wider!!

…she threw out her default-confused look (confused look is so one-month!) and replace it with her amused look as her default… she looks sorta like that on the left almost all the time.

…she learned how to smile and now, she greets both ari and i with her heart-melting smile all the time. we’re sooo happy!

…she loves to play. she has learned how to play and would rather play with us than sleep or eat. ack!

…she talks a lot, especially during her playtime. in her cooing way, of course. and we have to listen to her when she talks, or she throws tantrums.

…she likes to squeeze our noses.

…she still hates having wet nappy on and will demand nappy change right away.

…she can see things much clearer now. her eyes can easily follow us wherever we go. and if she caught us passing by, she immediately call for us (her call sounds like, “eh eh eh”). we can no longer hide from her!

…she has become a much friendlier baby compare to last month. yippie!
