Congratulations on the arrival of your daughter!
I came across your blog via a craft blog (sorry I’ve been touring your site for an hour and I’ve forgotten where I started). I was at first smiling at your lovely baby girl ..and then curious because you live in Singapore, and then intrigued by your work on the baby’s room at your house and then laughing because I used to live in Chip Bee Gardens!!! At 88 Taman Warna to be precise - just where the speed bump is. It was before the renovations- oh my -it’s been 12 years. I enjoyed living there when I was a single gal from Brissie. We just hoofed it up to Holland Rd to catch the bus to work- but mostly were lazy and perfected the taxi tango. I moved back to Singapore some years later and gave birth to my first daughter there
Life is an incredible journey and yours thus far has been great reading. Like you and Ari, we sit and say to each other- could we have ever imagined that this is where we would be in X years? We are presently living in NJ and have 15mth old twins- I am having trouble believing it- but my body tells me go to bed because it is bloody true!!!
Your blog is fantastic ( I am a techno fraud-have NO clue whatsoever) . Enjoy those precious (but hard) early months with your daughter- they will be gone in the blink of an eye.
