~ 32nd week ~

32nd week

unlike the photo taken 4 weeks ago, this time, the belly looks bigger. it protrudes further out. it’s gotten so big that the old sequence photo framing doesn’t fit anymore. i had to rearrange and re-crop the all of the photos to make more room for the expanding belly… so, starting now, the photo will be more zoomed out.

having a protruding belly makes many tasks hard to do. for example, i can’t wash dishes for too long without having a back pain. with this belly, i have to stand further away from the sink, resulting me bending slightly over the sink to reach things… and that kills my back, that’s already working hard to support the belly’s weight.

sleeping is getting less and less comfortable, too. but i think it’s a common complaint among pregnant woman. i feel bad to my dad and other men with big belly… it must have been hard for them having those belly for so long! i’m glad that mine will go away in the next few months.

other than that, i’m feeling well. the baby moves very often. and when she’s not moving, she often stays in a position that makes my belly looks weird and crooked. i think it’s amusing to see how my body changes it shapes every 10 minutes.

Must be really difficult to have to go to toilet every few minutes due to pressure to your bladder. Having big belly in men is different, the fat is distributed around the belly without pressuring any internal organs. So i think besides being unable to touch their toes, they’re quite ok.

well, the baby is not yet engaged. heck, she’s not even in an upside-down position yet… so the whole “going to the toilet every minute” thing is not there yet… supposedly, i will feel that once the baby is engage and her weight push the bladder.

i didn’t get a lot of backaches when i was preggie. only when i tried to move around while i was lying down or when i tried to get up. but i DID however burn my bump on the edge of a pan when i was reaching above the stove to grab some sesame oil while i was cooking. i still have the scar. :b so be careful. i think that happened around my sixth or seventh month though, when i was still starting to get bigger. at 32 weeks, you’re probably used to having a bump. you get so used to having it after awhile. after kyden was born, it was really weird not having a bump anymore.

anyway … yeah! one more month to go! enjoy it.
