~ rani + noe’s visit ~
this morning, rani and noe, who just came back from holiday at Cuba and Mexico, came by our home bringing some Mexican gifts, a brand new baby stroller and two marinated but uncooked chicken. you really don’t get those kind of stuff from regular guests, you know.
noe looks very healthy for someone under 2 year old who just came back from 33 days traveling to the other side of the world… and ari, who’s been day-dreaming of having a child, was very happy to have noe around. koda was too, except that she always ends up over-reacting and scares noe instead.
now, about the uncooked chicken… rani wanted to try her her recipes she got when she was in Mexico, but doesn’t have an oven. so she brought the chicken to have them baked here. we had one chicken for lunch, and rani brought the other back home. it was yummy!
as for the baby stroller, it was just a awesome surprise. we probably won’t need it until about a year from now, but have you looked around the price of those strollers lately? they are soooo expensive!

hey, i saw u & ari at CGK airport, right after you’re off from the plane.. i was in the waiting area, on my way to spore for the weekend. i was so surprised to see you.. very unexpected.. mau negor juga susah, kehalangan kaca. and you already have a bumpy belly. cute..!!
whoa, so you’re taking the same plane that took us to jakarta, eh? cool! sorry, we didn’t see you… i needed to go to the bathroom :P iya, sekarang udah mulai keliatan pregnant, hehe.
jadi sekarang udah balik ke jakarta lagi dong?
iya.. same plane. udah kayak naek bus aja.. hehe.
gimana massive territory nya? some friends invited me to go (which i think they went) but i was obviously outta town.. (plus it’s not exactly my industry.. hehe)
u too.. udah balik ke spore kan?
yep, udah balik dari minggu pagi, tapi langsung tewas seharian, capek banget!
menurut gue sih seru. speakernya asik2 :) tapi kalo bukan industri elo sih, kayaknya bakalan bosen tuh… hehehe.
glad you like the chicken! it’s so simple, just lemon juice, salt, pepper, oregano, and garlic. BTW i left also the pressure cooker in your house, i’ll come and get it one of these days, perhaps sunday morning after swimming lesson. Thanks for being such a great host!
yes, and you left your onions and limes as well. i probably won’t be back at home on Sunday morning. i’ll let you know as soon as i get home, okay?
