~ swelling tummy + computer expo ~

02 December 2006

so, this is how my tummy look like in the past three months:

1st trimester

it looks normal on the first month. the second month, i was completely bloated with gas, thus my waistline expanded. on third month, i think the bump has finally shown up. i can’t make it any flatter than that, which is VERY exciting! even though it currently looks more like i have a beer belly than a pregnant belly, i can’t stop looking at the mirror and rubbing my tummy… ah, the joy of the first pregnancy.

other the expanding waistline, my hair growth has also gone into overdrive. i thought it’s a good time to grow my hair, because supposedly, the pregnancy causes the hair to grow twice as fast (and healthier, too!) as it normally does. so, here comes long hair!

today, Ari, Bond and I went to the digital expo all the way to EXPO, which is near the airport. ari and i have been looking for a new desktop (windows/pc, not apple), so we thought the expo should be a good place to do some research. and if we were lucky, we could’ve ended up going home with a bargain piece of computer.

unfortunately, the place was hella crowded. it felt like the whole of Singapore decided to go to Expo. it was very tough to move from one area to another without pushing and shoving people around us. i guess, whenever there is a possibility of bargain in Singapore, the place will be as crowded as a bee hive.

it was not a good place for a pregnant woman who’s constantly wanting to throw up. yikes! we stayed there for about three hours before giving up… i got a few flyers for desktops, but that’s about it. we even had to leave Bond, who’s still looking for stuff, and went home early. sorry, Bond.

tummy’s showing already ^^ really exciting isn’t it? ^^ it’s always very nice to see to-be-moms making pictures of their growing tummy every month :D would be nice to show to the child in the future too.

I think it’s terrible to go to any computer shows etc to look for stuff.. too crowded to look for anything >_<; during this type of time, simlim would be better. hehe.. less crowded i guess. price will probably not differ too much.

von, you are sooooo right. it’s not worth it to go to the expo if it was *that* crowded. we couldn’t see much anyway.

yep, i’m planning to have monthly pictures of the tummy. i find it fascinating to see it gets bigger each week! human body certainly does wonder…

ya elah, yan… elo kan udah beranak satu. liat aja ntar, kayaknya bakalan bisa nyusul elo, hihihi.

btw, iya nih. gue baru tau kalo lagi hamil, yang tambah gede bukan cuman perut. bagian belakang juga ikutan “menyeimbangkan”… celana jadi pada sempit nih.
