~ re-potting the dying plants ~
25 June 2006
i have a bunch of small plants in small pots. they used to live in the house, decorating the TV, shelves and other blend corners. when we were on our vacation, these little plants had to stay outside, so that they get watered by the rain. when we came back, some of the plants have grown and some were dying. but all of them was infested by sowbugs. ewww, i didn’t want them to be in the house.
when we went to IKEA, ari and i bought a large ceramic flowerpot and bags of soil. today, after the rain (which causes more sowbugs), we re-pot the little plants into the flowerpot.
hopefully, the dying ones will recover and they’ll be happier this way. we’ll see what happen in the next few days…

I got a tip from my friend, when you give them fertilizer, put one expired antibiotic or vitamin in it(one littler of water plus fertilizer) then sprey this mixture to the plants. we have done it and it works.
oh cool. i’ll give it a try next time we fertilize them.
