expiration date 

Yasmina came to visit today. she was in her way to Jakarta from Netherlands, and the transit time in Singapore was 9 hours! that’s a long transit.

so, she came by our home, which even though messy, it’s probably better than waiting in the airport for 9 hours. we chatted, she played with Koda, we had breakfast at the Killiney Kopitiam in Holland Village and continued chatting, until ari finally woke up and joined us at the Kopitiam.

for lunch, ari and i took her to the Hainanese kopitiam around the new National Library. Melvyn and Tracy showed us the place three nights ago, and we’re hooked. they serve very good chicken rice that is not MSG overload, like most of the chicken rice in Singapore. judging from Yasmina’s expression, i think she agrees with us that the chicken rice was excellent :)

for the food photos, we have to wait until Yasmina uploads her pictures. as usual, she took photos of food. i didn’t bring my camera and the photos above was taken using ari’s camera phone.
