~ bathing the pandas ~
it’s time for my pandas’ yearly bath. they shower once a year, sometimes more than once depending on how dirty they are or if there are special occasions. this time, they’re just plain dirty… and since i’m going to take them to Japan with us, i want them to look at least presentable.
scrubs… scrubs… puni is being scrubbed while miru and goni are waiting their for turns.
koda is waiting patiently on the bathroom doorway and watching me bathing the plush. she never once try to chew on the plush, thank god.
the weather was thankfully hot. actually, a little too hot. but i couldn’t ask for a better weather to dry plushies up. i think, in a weather like singapore, where it is very humid, the only thing that could make plush dry is hot sunny day. or air-conditioned room, which dries up everything, including us. but since we don’t have AC, so that’s not an option.
the last time they took a bath was a few days before our Jakarta wedding, where they all dressed up to attend our wedding. Chili made the hats and clothes.

they are, right!? i loved them! my aunt made them as one of the surprise gifts… now our pandas have formal attire to wear to parties… hehehe.

dulu tuh gue “tersiksa” bgt klo harus mandiin dia. gue merasa dia pasti ga nyaman kalo disikat dan direndam busa. silly hä? :D

hm, pundu2 gue juga ga suka banget mandi. pake nangis2 dulu sebelumnya. makanya schedulenya cuman setaun sekali. cuma, yang mereka ga suka bukan pas lagi berendemnya, tapi pas lagi dijemurnya… (kayaknya sih, gue yang trauma… pertama kali nyuci mereka, ngga kering. jadi sempet semalem ngga tidur ama mereka… :P )

we loved them too! those hats and the frilly dress on Miru were one of the surprise gifts from my aunt, Chili. we weren’t allowed to see them until the wedding party day. we still keep them for other parties :)
