~ knitted hat ~

ari's new hat
it’s been a while since i knitted. but since we’re going to be visiting a wintery place, i made this simple hat for ari. his winter hats are all still in the box in Jakarta. and this is a good excuse for me to start knitting again (i actually begged him not to buy a winter hat, so that i could make one for him).

i’m pretty happy with how it turned out. this is probably the best knitted hat i could come up with. all the previous ones (including this green one) are all too big. i still can’t measure things correctly when i knit.

shh, it’s not actually animal ears… it’s a four points of the hat, since i was too lazy to dart and sew the hat to make it round. so, i told him the points make it look cute and “different”. he agrees and stopped bugging me to sew the points. yay!

i love the design. it’s cute! i’ve never made a hat before. hey thal, my inlaw just gave me a yarn dgn warna yg sama…bintik2xnya juga sama. berapa spool yg kamu pake buat bikin hat itu?
