~ drugs, spay and japan ~

03 December 2005

so far, koda’s drugs make her sleepy. she sleeps wherever and whenever! however, when she’s awake, she still chews on her fur… so, it hasn’t really helped yet. we’ll probably let her finish the drugs, and hope that somewhere between now and two weeks from now, she will stop chewing on her fur.

two days from now, koda is going under surgery. she’s getting spayed! yay! it gives me a little relief, because later this month, Kodak might be staying at a Pet Hotel for eleven days. among other worries, i’d be worried the most that she would go home pregnant (wow, that sounds so slutty…).

yep, later this month, ari and i will be going for a vacation to Japan. we just paid our plane tickets this afternoon. we haven’t had our vacation since we got married, so i guess we can call this our honeymoon… heh heh heh.

we’ll be going to Osaka, Kyoto and Beppu to see Jessi, ari’s sister who’s currently going to school there, and spend Christmas and New Years Day there. and, nope, we’re not going to Tokyo. so, if you have any suggestions of places we should visit, please let us know… i’ve never been to the Kansai area of Japan, so this is very exciting for me :D

wow, japan, how cool is that?! tapi kapan ke milano nih? ;-)

i’ve only ever been to tokyo, so wouldn’t know what to suggest, but why don’t you check out jun’s blog? she lives in tokyo, and is really into food, and she travels around japan sometimes —> http://www.basedonatruestory.com/ldk

oh soo very cool! have fun and have a lot of seafood!!! can i order just one tiny real wasabi piece, out of curiosity, i always wanted to try how real wasabi tasted like, not the instant paste you find in supermarket, those are not wasabi, those are artificial…. kalo ga ngerepotin aja lho.

sure, if we ended up in a restaurant that serves real wasabi, we’ll bring some home and let you have it :D

I am a half japanese-indonesian,
originally from KYOTO, I recommend to u to visit NARA and KOBe also, its not far from Osaka, take JR Line to Kobe, and KINTETSU line to NARA..
If u plan to stay in KYOTO, try to go to the OWARIYA, if u guys like soba, its the best in KYOTO for SOBA..dont forget to go to GION, SANJO and KAWAHARAMACHi if u like shopping japanese stuff..and TORAYA its the best place for sweet pastry, located in kawaharamachi close to DAIMARU DEPT STORE..have a niice trip…YOKOSO…

wow, japan! lucky you! i almost took a 4-day trip to kyoto & nara by myself last january, but ended up canceling it because it was wayy too expensive for me… hehe… have a wonderful honeymoon, and don’t forget to take lots of pics! :)

we sure will!

by the way, i think if you take a trip to Japan in December, it will turn out cheaper. the flight is cheaper, the hotel is usually discounted, even there is discounts for travelling with certain trains :)
