~ 5th month ~
on Koda’s 5th month…
…she was called “gigantic” by our neighbor’s girlfriend, whom last seeing Koda was when she’s 4 months old. she is still growing, but knee-high height for a dog definitely cannot be considered as gigantic.
…she tries to dig and bury her bones and rawhide on every corner of our house. since tiles are not diggable, she ends up just laying the bones on the corners.
…she starts having separation anxiety. we found her chewing thrown away paper twice when we come home from shopping.
…she still chases her own tail.
…she has lost all of her baby fur, except for a few strands on the tip of her ears.
…she can bark now! *woof!*
…this past month, she starts her trip to restaurants in the neighborhood. we ordered stuff and ate, while she learned to sit and stay still. so far, she could hold on for an order of ice cream. next time, we’ll try a longer meal.
…she gets jittery in crowds. we need to work on that.

that’s awesome, the “new dog” feel..
congratulations, she seems like a great dog.
thanks :) i can’t say that she’s a great dog, after — 10 minutes ago — she tore up everything in the trash can and left pieces of papers and plastic all over our living room…
but she’s learning to be a great one :)
