expiration date 

last night, i took a break from making small animals and ari took a break from fiddling with his flash 8. we went to Phunk Studio’s chandelier exhibition thingy at White Room and meet up with a few friends.

we also thought that chandelier would make a lovely decoration at our new home. well… it definitely would. but our wallets don’t allow us to get one. ah well…

White Room is located in Haji Lane, within the Kampong Glam neighborhood. and honestly, i was surprised that little lane is quite happening. the place was full people were hanging out in front of record stores and small studios. what really caught my eyes was the Turkish restaurant. i think it only opens at night. their tables and chairs, carpets and pillows were scattered all over the sidewalk on that lane, even in front of other stores. people were sitting down or laying around, eating their baba ganoush and houmous while smoking shisha…. on the street.

i’ve never smoked shisha before (ari looked at me in disbelief when i told him so). so, when Shawn told us that they’re going to grab some food and puff some smoke, i told ari i wanted to join. it looked fun.

well, i guess it isn’t as fun as it was hyped to be. we chose the grape flavor. it taste like the aftertaste of strawberry chewing gum. and it dried up my throat. weird…

has anyone tried it? any better suggestion of the flavor?
