~ back in jakarta + iPod ~
i’m back from Singapore yesterday. i wish i could stay longer, but oh well…
since i got back, there are a few of disturbing family news and a car that needs to be put into the garage. but aside from that, everything goes well.
last night, after got back from the airport, i went over to Chili’s house and spent a night there. and she got the new iPod. the one i want! the one with click wheel (mine is the one with four buttons).
i have the iPod first generation — 5Gb and the wheel physically rotates. i instantly fell in love with the design and its break through interface. i thought Apple was a genious for creating a very easy to use interface. i thought it was very intuitive to have the menu button on the top of the wheel, previous and next on the side and play/pause on the bottom. i didn’t even have to learn or memorize where the buttons, it came so natural. so, upon seeing the fourth generation, where the buttons move to the top near the screen, i was dissapointed. but i bought it anyway, because i don’t have access to Mac computer anymore, and the first-generation iPod is not PC-compatible. and the 40Gb harddrive is another compelling reason.
my parents always remind me never to regret anything i bought… regretting things that i spent money on means i don’t appreciate the fortune i have… and it’s a bad luck. but, after buying a third-generation iPod a month before the one i’ve been longing for come out, i couldn’t help feeling that i should’ve waited for those four weeks.
ah well. no regret, right? heh heh.
and i spent my creative zen touch budget to buy daiva’s bed..
