expiration date 

i’ve been sick for the past few days. the computer has also been sick since i got back to Jakarta on Friday. the monitor did not receive any signal, even though the CPU is turned on. my uncle and i fiddled around with it for days, and it didn’t do anything.

and today, as i was calling my cousin — who’s a computer wizard, the computer worked like wonder. and i didn’t do anything except restarting it (which i’ve done numerous times before i fell ill!). it’s so strange! i just explained the problem, and he asked me whether the computer beeps after i restarted it or not. i didn’t remember, so i restart the computer right there… and it worked! …i think my cousin is really a wizard.

as for my illness, well, let’s just say i constantly had to go to the bathroom, alternating between puking and you-know-what, to the point where i was dehidrating. i lost a little more than 2 kilos (around 3-4 lbs, i think) in less than two days, where my pants size, i think, remains the same. i’m sure it’s all the fluid that i’ve lost… scary.

i might’ve been eating something bad, or maybe my ulcer was acting up again, who knows. but but the fever was pretty high and it was hella annoying. my aunt and her family picked me up and took me a somekind of emergency health center, where the doctor gave me a few pills, caplets and syrups. they worked like wonder. in two days, i’m back to normal.

and it’s even more wonderful because on the same day, my computer seems to cure itself. yay!
