~ off to the States! ~

17 May 2004

regarding to my visa concerns, i don’t have to worry about it anymore. the passports arrived today with five-year US visa stamp. horray me! horray mom! we can leave tonight!

so yeah, we’re leaving tonight at midnight, which is in about 3 hours.

we’ll be stopping by Singapore for approximately 10 hours, then fly stright to L.A. then to Savannah, where my brother goes to school. we’ll be hanging around the States (visiting a few cities… call it family vacation) for about three weeks. i’m not sure if i will have internet connection. but when i do, i’ll definitely check emails.

i’ll be taking pictures, since my photo albums lately has been quite lame.

see ya… :)

You don’t know how lucky you are :) I was in Mexico a couple months ago trying to extend my US visa sticker because my work permit let me stay until 2005 but the sticker expired in March. They only gave me a year and I’m actually working in the US!

yes, i considered myself lucky, too! (i was dancing along the hallway at the office when i found out!) but then again, maybe… just maybe, i could get 5 year one because it was a tourist visa, not H1-b. :-/
