~ last full time week ~
what a lovely day. i left early from work, walked around soho and nolita with ari while the sun was still out… it was nice. then went to dinner in this little mexican cafe called cafe el .. something. don’t remember.
the most exciting part of the day is… TODAY IS MY LAST FULL TIME WEEK! woohoo thalia!
it’s amazing. all the VPs of Product Development were out today. no jane, no hafeez, no tom. that means, no work either. well, not really, but i didn’t feel obligated to stay late at work. so yeah, i left around 5:45, which is very early considering i usually go home around 7:30.
ari and i talked a little about dotcom stuff. it started yesterday, but carried over to today. we discussed how low the dotcom peeps get paid. it was ok before, since the whole culture was about fun. you can have fun at work, but you don’t get paid that much. it’s fine until your CEO decided to be all serious and took all the fun out but forgot to raise our salary. now, we’re just grumpy workers who overworked and underpaid.
oh, and the whole stock option thing, which now has long gone into the trash can.
