expiration date 

last night, mom and i spoke until 2 in the morning. we talked about her problems, my problems, someone else’s problems (a.k.a. gossips)… it was a long talk.

well, bad idea. especially since i’m leaving for Brisbane tonight, straight from work (where i have a 9 o’clock meeting in the morning) and i haven’t packed my bags.

so, this morning, i juggled between brushing my teeth and deciding and putting clothes, laptop’s portable mouse and my stuffed animals in the bag. and oh, don’t forget the plane ticket, thalia!

so, Brisbane is going to be fun. i’m going to stay at Noushka’s apartment (as usual), we’re going to rent a small car so that we can get places and go to the arcade late at night, or go to the beach or bars.

and i can’t wait for Sunday. Jane and Shannon, friends and ex-co-worker from New York is currently having a 5-week excursion around Australia and New Zealand. and i will see them on Sunday night. so, why is it exciting? well, because i thought when i left New York a year ago, i thought i would never see any of my friends there ever again. so, of course i’m happy and excited! .

on Monday, i’ll be flying to Sydney to visit the other office that i’m currently working at. this one is a business trip, i guess. then i’ll fly back to Melbourne that night.

why i’m telling you all these? because i doubt i’ll have an internet connection when i’m in Brisbane. the last time i spent nights there, Noush’s internet service provider bailed out on her. not sure if it was her computer or the ISP.
