~ astronomy ~
when i was little, when people ask me, “what do you wanna be when you grow up?” , i would say astronomist. i was strangely fascinated with the sky, the moon and the stars. i subscribed to many astronomy magazines, including those in English (i was in the 3rd or 4th grade at that time, me no speak english then). i could tell what constellations in the sky just by looking at it. i read everything that has anything to do with stars and planetary systems. this was during the time when i read a lot. i read like there is no tomorrow. i stopped reading when i entered junior highschool.
just like the reading thing, after i started junior highschool, i lost all the astronomical interests. well, not all. i just no longer want to major in Astronomy in college. i think, at that time, i wanted to be a rock star (hehehe).
today, as i browse around, and i found this MSN Quiz — Space: How Out of it Are You?. and i scored 10 out of 10, although i had to admit that i wildly guessed one of the answers. not bad, eh? i guess the elementary school obsession can still keep up with the MSN Quizzes.

hei. guess what. I have the same obsession with astronomy back at the elementary school too! hmm, great mind think alike eh hehehe. i even had a telescope and a starchart (imagine a 4th grade student with a starchart & telescope on top of the roof, that’s me). ah, astronomy…
yeah, i got this telescopes too from my dad. it was a birthday present. fun fun :)
when i was little, i was obsessed with the ‘pustaka alam’ books, and one of my most favorites was the astronomy book with lots of nebula pictures… they have such pretty colors!!
pustaka alam books! i had those too! the astronomy one is in blue, right? hehehe…
Astronomy is cool, but I never liked using telescopes…
really? i loved my telescopes. it had so many other uses besides for looking at that sky…
