~ test entry/threaded comments ~
i’m installing something on the site. to do that, i need an entry to test with. so, here it is… you’re looking at the test entry. nothing exciting. but i hope once this “something” installed, it’ll be a bit more exciting. at least for me.
later on: so, yeah… i played around and installed the Threaded Comments plugin for Movable Type. with this plugin, everyone would be able to not only respond to the journal entry, but they can also reply to someone else’s comment. i don’t know how useful it will be on this site, since this is not a discussion site. but i have always partial to the livejournal’s threaded commenting system.
i’m not very satisfied with the way it looks, so i’ll be playing around with it for the next few days. hopefully i can get it look the way i like.
meanwhile, let me know if you find things bugs. especially mac peeps, since i don’t have a mac with me.
linkydink: arrange your guests’ seats in a party. i love this game!
im on safari and it doesnt crash my browser, but it does this weird thing where when i first click on the link, it shows me the stuff thats in that left nav spread across the page. after 5-10 seconds, the page reloads and i can see the comments. does look a little wird, like all of a sudden you are going to some admin looking site after being at the warm and friendly expiration date site.
aha, thanks scogin. i think i gotta ask ari to download and start using safari. that way, i can use his computer to check these kinds of things.
5-10 seconds is a long wait…
hmm… i’m using safari, and it actually looks fine on my end, except that the title’s a bit squished together.
yeah, i’ve changed the font. the previous font and its size doesn’t work with long title. :-/
