~ new computer! ~
finally, i bought a new laptop today. it’s VAIO V505, as it’s shown below.
my previous laptop was a VAIO as well. a very tiny one. when i bought my old one, i decided to buy it based on its look (i think, most of my gadgets are bought based on whether or not it’s pretty), not so much on its capability. so, i ended up with a little cute, light-weighted computer that i had to carry along with another bag full of heavy peripherals… don’t get me wrong, i looooved my old laptop. but let’s just say that i learned a good lesson in buying laptops.
this time, i was pretty much torn between this, this, this and this. the first two are so cute! they’re small, compact, and very pretty. the last two are larger but more powerful. hmm, tough choices… let’s see:
- i don’t have desktop, thus this laptop will be my one and only computer.
- i travel a whole lot, so i shouldn’t have a laptop that weigh like a desktop.
- i play around with graphics stuff quite often, so i need enough power on the CPU with powerful video card.
- i can’t have everything.
sigh…
after a lot of thoughts, consideration and tiem to convince myself that looks isn’t everything, i ended up buying the oldest, the cheapest, but have the most power out of the four. and as i write this entry with it, i think i’m going to love it :)
ps: avi, this site is now look decent on Mozilla Firebird (there is a little off on the alignment of the title, but that’s minor)… yay! desi, i’m still working on the mac layout. ari is pulling all-nighters, so i can’t use his mac. hehe.

you can have everything!!! (well, maybe not). i like the new laptop, even though its not a mac (boo). you got a laptop, i got a dog. he’s black, two months old and likes to either sleep or chew.
