expiration date 

it’s been a mixed feeling weekend. let’s start with the good news:

we bought jane’s mac (a G4 powerbook, titanium laptop) that comes with an iPod, an Airport, and a bunch of legitimate softwares — yay, we’re going legitimate! so, on Friday, after jane moved all her stuff to her other computer, we got to bring the baby home… ain’t it exciting? shiny silvery new computer for us… yippee!

so, that’s the highlight of the weekend. the rest of it was a quite annoying and a bit gloomy:

* unsettling news from parents, which stressed me out for the rest of the weekend.

* tried to shop at the new Apple Store at Soho, which turned out to be a bad store (we had a list of stuff we wanted to buy, but none of them are in stock… i mean, why do they need that huge of a space if it has none of the stuff that people want?)

* didn’t feel well. i think i’m about to get sick.

* the airport does not want to connect with my other PC laptop, even after we bought the wireless card.

* more worrying phone calls.

* yep, it’s definitely flu.

* i ended up screwing the Airport, which cost me 60 bucks of customer service call… yep, Apple is much more expensive that the Sony Vaio. i shouldn’t have complained about the 19 bucks i spent last week.

* my pc laptop is still internet-less… looks like i need to buy a hub.

oh, i’m so annoyed. i’d like to whine some more, but i think i’d better stop now. no matter what, we got a cute toy to play with, right? this is the first post made from the new G4 laptop. wheee!
