~ me vs. machines ~

around 6 in the evening, i heard a loud bzzt sound and not a second later, my computer went dead. electrical surge. the computer restarted by itself, but it stopped and froze in the middle of the process. my computer won’t restart. i rebooted 3 times, and it still froze. i was supposed to print 3 ninety-pages document, which is supposed to be brought to Boston by miked tomorrow morning at 8. i started to panic. the IT guy left already… i tried to remember what he taught me how to unfreeze the computer…. was it explorer.exe? where is it? ggaah…..

after about 10 minutes, finally i made it. and when i started printing, the printer’s toner went low. white streaks on the spec.

why can’t machines get along with me?

Machines are always like that… especially near deadlines. Treat them like your babies then you’ll be fine.

the smack thing never works for me. but then again, i never tried the ‘baby’ approach either ;)
