expiration date 

i’m in the middle of dying my hair dark brown. i currently smell like ammonia. yuck.

i have learned that those off-the-shelves hair dye doesn’t do much to my black hair. but yesterday, on the way home from jane’s apartment, the new Feria ad on the subway making me wanting to dye my hair. the number is 56. let’s see what would happen in 25 minutes. meanwhile…

i don’t usually get all emotional when watching some action movies, but i cried when i watched Peter Parker’s uncle got hurt. a little bit, but i did get teary. ari and i finally watched Spider-man. and it was GOOD. sad to say, but i think it’s better than the Star Wars Episode II. maybe i’m just easily pleased, but seeing spidey swinging from one building to another was quite breath-taking… i didn’t even think, “oh, that was a great computer graphic animation!”… it looked so, uhm, normal. i also think the amount of drama, laugh and action are just about right, making the movie enjoyable and entertaining. i wouldn’t mind spending some money to buy the DVD when it come out.

anyways, yay! i’m finally done moving ALL my journal entries to Movable Type. they are used to be scattered entries all over the site with different extensions and different format. i now have 600 entries started January 1999 arranged nicely in the same management system. wooohooo!

stuff from yesterday: ari and i went to jane’s roof party yesterday late afternoon. she had a small memorial day bbq party… too bad the weather wasn’t bbq friendly. it was chilly and windy. everyone tried to stand as close as possible to the grill to keep themselves warm. having said that, it was fun. i got to blow a candle on top of shannon’s brownies for my birthday :) we played a few (or maybe more than a few) rounds of DOA, where i can kick gweld’s and miked’s ass.. (ha ha).
