expiration date 

woah! avocadolite.com is featured on the cover of DFORM1 today! i was so excited that i literally jumped into ari. i had a big smile on my face the whole day… :D

if you don’t know what DFORM1 is, ah… what a shame! go take a look, you’ll see what i mean. it’s a kind of site where i go for inspiration. so, that’s why i feel very honored to be on there… *big smile*

but, of course, we (ari and i) didn’t just stay at home because of that. we went to Kinokuniya, a japanese bookstore located on the Rockafeller Center (did i spell that right?). i’ve been wanting to go there since i came back from San Jose to buy some magazines and stuff for my new organizer. so i shopped.

we also bought a digital camera today. we didn’t plan to, but i guess, the salesman on one of the electronic stores around 57th street did a very good job in convincing that he made a good deal on us. so, we spent $250 for a digital camera. we’re, again, very excited about our new toy. we took a lot of pictures… so excited that we took pictures of an empty subway.

once we got to ari’s apartment, we couldn’t wait to download the pictures and see how they’d look. but, damn… ari’s mac doesn’t take anything less than USB port. and that camera only has a serial port… we looked around, dig the mess inside every single cabinet and storage area on ari’s apartment, looking for a USB/serial port converter… couldn’t find any.

*sigh*

i guess, we just have to wait till tomorrow, and download the pictures later in the office. but no matter what, i’m so psyched for everything that happened today.
