i didn’t know you’re supposed to puncture a hole on your nail when you smashed your finger blue… george had one of his middle finger blue from accumulated blood underneath his nail. he made a hole on the nail and drained the blood out. despite the two little holes (eww) on the nail, it looked much more normal afterwards. i wish i knew this 20 years earlier, so i could prevent a couple of my nails from falling off.
