expiration date 

there is a diner close to my office called Kenny’s that i often go for lunch. sometimes, i go three times a week. the waitress never gives me the menu anymore since i’ve been ordering the same thing for months — cheeseburger delux and iced tea.

today, i went there, stood outside finishing my cigarette. and the door was locked. there was a pink paper on the door saying “Closed by the Commision of Health”. wow. that explains the stomach ache and bathroom visits. i thought this kind of thing only happens to restaurants in Chinatown….

don’t get me wrong. i love dirty food. that’s why i like Kenny’s food and those yummy roast ducks in Chinatown. and i’m quite used to all the stomach ache stuff. i was just surprise with what happened with Kenny’s. maybe more surprised than when i saw Sweet-n-Tart Cafe on TV as one of the dirty place in Chinatown. i still go there, though… can’t get enough of their Taiwanese Tea. mmm…
