~ parties + ramen ~
tonight, we took aina to the OIC’s 3rd birthday party at the Asylum. bumped into a few friends and enjoyed all the pretty illustrations… hopefully, next year we can participate…
there were some beautiful limited edition illustrations to buy, too.
aina fell asleep in the taxi on the way there, so she was rather clingy by the time we got there.
we then had dinner at the Baikohken Ramen, recommended by Oscar (yep, we finally tried it!). the portion was huuuuge — i should’ve ordered the half-portion — i probably left half of it untouched, even though i have already shared the ramen with aina.

in my opinion, the ramen itself was rather bland… BUT, the chasyu! omg, it melts in your mouth… i’d have to say that it’s probably the best chasyu (for ramen) in Singapore that i’ve ever tried. the gyoza was pretty good, too!
after dinner, we went back home, put aina to bed and left again to another party: the grand opening for Stereolab/Stereolounge. once again, bumped into some people. i couldn’t stay long, though… i was too sleepy to keep up. this is probably the first time i’m doing party hopping in at least 2 years — since aina was born. and it’s pretty obvious that my party endurance is pretty low and i’m easily pooped.

and i keep looking at that spoon perching on edge of the bowl. i want one of those! :D
the plushy (snowy) goes EVERYWHERE with her. it sorta stuck with her…
about the spoon, are you sure you can’t find them in japanese stores? i can easily find them here. lemme know if you want me to send some to you :)
aina ditinggal di rumah pas ke stereolab grand opening nya?
iya, ada “baby sitter” yg di rumah sih. tapi deg2an juga, soalnya kalo ampe aina kebangun, pasti nangis2 nyariin gue… yah, banking on the fact that she hasn’t been woken up in the middle of the night for the past few months sajah lah :P
aahhh.. that’s what i tot! also the trouble for me until now. walopun di rumah ada mbaknya, entah kenapa naia pasti kebangun kalo gue gak ada. makanya sampe sekarang masih belom tega ninggalin naia di rumah malem2.
gue sih kebayang banget… ini juga baru pertama kalinya in about 8 months gue tinggalin dia. dulu, waktu masih kecilan, pernah bbrp kali, tapi yang jagain neneknya. biarpun dia tetep nangis2 nyari gue, rasanya buat gue sih lebih aman. kalo yang ama “baby sitter” ini, duh, deg2an bangeeeet! bener banget, ga tega…
