After I finished Aina’s first crocheted pointe shoe bag, I made a few other bags and pouches before starting to take orders, like the Hana’s and Miko’s bag. I made a larger pointe shoe bag that can fit 2 pairs of pointe and 2 pair of soft shoes for Aina. I haven’t taken pictures of this one nor written about it, but that bag ended up as Aina’s favorite and she still uses it everyday.
I also made a small crocheted pouch for her toe pad, so that she could hang and air it outside of her bag after every pointe class. She chose turquoise, because it was her favorite color.
A few days ago, Kazue, Rieka’s mom asked if I could make a toe pad pouch for Rieka, with the same color as Aina’s pouch. Apparently, turquoise is a very popular color among girls right now… Since they will be having the same exact pounch with the same exact color, I added a letter R on Rieka’s, so they wouldn’t get the pouch mixed up. It turned out pretty cute with that little R.
