We’ve been going to Japan quite a lot lately. This time, though, was not really a vacation. There were two parts of this trip:
The first 8 days was to go to Fukuoka and Sapporo (yep, from the southern part of Japan, all the way to the northern part). There, Aina went there to try out regional ballet competitions. It was definitely a learning experience for both Aina and me, and indeed was very different than our usual trip to Japan.
The second part was the vacation. After the Sapporo trip, Aina and I flew to Tokyo to meet up with Ari, who just flew from Singapore. We stayed in Tokyo for 5 days having a pretty low-key (but lots of food) holiday.
