Aina gave me one of the her best surprises this afternoon. Earlier this morning, we were talking about how my room looked like when I was a kid. I told her that on top of my bed, I hung a shelf that held my radio/cassette player (yup, cassette!), that I played almost 24 hours a day. I even slept with the music on.
Aina said, “So, you used to listen to music a lot more than you do now?”
“Yup,” I said.
After the shower, she stayed downstairs. She told me that I wasn’t allowed to go downstairs, because she’s making something for me. It turned out that she made me this:
An iPhone Speaker made out of a paper towel roll and cups, so that I can listen to my music more often… She advertised, “This will make the sound of your iPhone as if on its maximum, without turning it to the max!”
I was sooooo touched.
Of course the pink buttons don’t work. Just for decoration, she said… I asked her where she got the idea from, and she said, she saw this a while ago on You-Tube, and she thought it would make a perfect gift today, especially since she didn’t make any birthday gifts for me. So this was my late birthday gift 🙂
I love my Aina.
