Last year, we bathed Snowy and the Pandas about a week before we left for Japan trip… That way, the plushies would look presentable during the trip.
This year, we had to wait for another week, because we were replacing our dead washing machine with a new one. And I was hoping that this washing machine would work well for washing stuffed animals. We don’t have dryer, so we rely on either a long sunny day (which doesn’t happen often lately) or a very fast spin on the washing machine.
Oh, and this year, Snowy Dua (her second Snowy) joined the wash. It was his first wash, and Aina decided to wash him because he was quite grey… About the same color as the original Snowy.

The “before” photo…
Surprisingly, our new washing machine (Brandt 7kg Front-loader) worked really well with the plushies! I chose the 45-minute wash, and as usual, I added Vanish on to the regular detergent, and the plushies came out all fluffy and white. And even better, they came out almost dry that we didn’t need to put them out under the sun.
So, we were all happy… The Pandas were happy and white, the Snowies were happy and white, Aina was even happier because she didn’t need to wait too long for Snowy to dry, and can immediately snuggle with the toy dog.
Puni’s snout area is back to white. No more brown stain… at least for the next few weeks.

The before and after picture of the bunch.. The Snowies look a lot cleaner on the second picture, but Miru and Goni don’t look that much different. Puni is shinier, though.

Aina masih bawa-bawa snowy kemana-mana kah? Gimana cara dia bedain snowy 1 & snowy 2. They look the same (in my eyes ).
Masa sama sih? Buat kita bedaaaa banget, merem aja kita bisa bedain, hahaha! Aina masih nempel ama Snowy, tapi udah ga dibawa keluar rumah lagi. Dan sekarang karena Aina sibuk ballet, jadi ketemu Snowynya juga lebih jarang… Cuma kalo pas dia lagi di rumah aja, which is jarang banget!
