Aina loves Mister Maker. Even at 7 years old, she still watch Mister Maker on the TV. When she was younger, she had a chance to meet the Mister Maker himself… and since then, she’s been a big fan of him.
Today, she watched him making a caterpillar out of an old socks. So, since she had many old socks, she immediately went into craft mode. I didn’t even have to do anything, she collected the stuff and started to make it herself.
All you need is:
- an old sock,
- stuffings, like dacron or pillow filler,
- a pipe cleaner,
- a pair of googly eyes,
- tiny pompoms
- a glue
- a pencil
- and a pair of scissors to cut out two holes on the socks for the antennae.
Cut the holes on the old sock, fill it up with the stuffing and tie the open end. Put the pipe cleaner through the holes. Curl the pipe cleaners using pen/pencils, and stick the pompom at the end using glue. And stick the googly eyes with the glue.
And within about 5 minutes, it’s all done… Aina got a new stuffed animal.
