Since Aina had a great time last year, this year, we participated the Cold Storage Kids Run again this year. But instead of going with Sportsball like last year, we registered by ourselves. Actually, we registered along with a few other kids of The Mama Runners; Aina, Naia and Keira were all going to run in the same category. So they were all going to run together.
And we, the moms who were going to run with the kids, wore our uniforms, too… The Urban Mama tanks.
And of course, it was more fun to run with your friends… They were chasing each other and laughing the whole track, and didn’t complain of being tired at all. And we, the moms, was quite busy taking pictures of the running kids, too. Aina was in a tip top condition this year (unlike last year, when she had a stomach flu), so the race went well and very smooth.
And while the moms were running with the kids, the dads were on the sideline taking pictures of us waving frantically to them…
It was a lot of fun. And afterwards, they still play together…
So, yeah… everything went sooo well… until after the race, Aina and I went to the Raffles City Mall bathroom to change Aina from running gear to her ballet outfit (she had a full dress ballet rehearsal right after the race), and I left my handphone there… in the bathroom. Along with tons of today’s photos in there… and it was all lost forever.
Bah.
I’m still quite bitter about that.
