today is the first time i went to Singapore Airshow. i’ve been to a few others like in L.A. and Jakarta and i had quite high expectations. unfortunately, today’s wasn’t up to mine.
the three of us, accompanied by Noushka, got there a little over 11 in the morning. we caught the Acrobatic Flying Display, which was fun and pretty much was the highlight of the day.
Blair Aerosports, Australia, Rebel 300
then, we went in to the exhibition hall, but the place was waaaay too crowded to enjoy. most of the exhibits were closed for public, anyway. the line for the bathroom was ridiculously long and the line for food was even worse.
and on top of it, the weather wasn’t cooperating: it rained. under the drizzle, we walked around the planes and helicopters to take a few photos.
unfortunately, the rain got heavier, and we were ushered back into the already packed exhibition hall. the place was just filled with miserable faces. so, we decided to cut the visit short, skipped the 3 o’clock Flying Display and took the shuttle back. oh well. i hope, next year the weather will be better and we will definitely bring our own meals.
more photos (although not much) in the singapore airshow 2012 album.
