well, not really… she can only hold it for two to three seconds before falling off to the side.
we rode the bikes to the Botanic Gardens with Baby Thyme in tow. once we’re there, we took the little bike off and let aina ride it… as you can see, aina is fully geared: a helmet, knee pads, elbow pads and riding gloves… she loooooves wearing those stuff.
at the beginning, we tried the road.
she had a lot of fun and people passing by cheered for her. and she didn’t hit anyone (thank god!)… her tongue kept sticking out when she’s in the midst of concentrating, though. kinda like that Pumpkin girl from Memoirs of a Geisha 🙂
then we moved to a lawn… we’re hoping this way, she wouldn’t be afraid to fall. it was harder to pedal and slower to move, though.
and then, she finally did it a few times. not any longer than 2-3 seconds, but it’s a start, right? 🙂
