i was downstairs when i heard aina speaking english outloud in our room upstairs. it turns out that she was reading one of her Angelina Ballerina books — her current favorite, she has memorized every single line in the book — outloud to koda.
i thought it was sweet…
then she told me that she was Belle, reading the book for the Beast in the imaginary library, because the Beast couldnt’ read… and koda is the Beast, because “koda’s fur is the same color as the Beast”, she said. as you probably have guessed, last night we watched Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.
