it’s weekend, so we’re doing some crafts. this week’s theme is necklace. what we used:
- perler beads we got from IKEA. (we got some perler beads crafts, too, but that’s a different entry…)
- large tapestry needle
- thread, the thicker the better
i used the largest needle that can fit into the perler needle. it’s so big that aina can even insert the thread into the needle. super simple! it was so easy that she started making many of them… supposedly, she wants to give it away for her friends as gifts. 🙂
maybe the next step is teaching her on how to make simple flowers out of beads. maybe…
