more fun fake pizza! this time, we’re doing it without the tomato paste, and it turned out better than the previous fake pizza. much tastier!
aina is getting better at making one, especially at laying down the pepperoni and spreading the cheese.
3 pieces of pocket-less pitas.
a small jar of pesto sauce
pepperoni, sliced thin
1 large tomato, sliced
freshly ground pepper
preheat oven to 225 degrees Celsius.
spread about 1-2 tablespoon of pesto on top of the pita. lay your pepperoni, the more the better. then add slices of tomatoes on top of it. sprinkle the cheese and on top of the toppings.
lay the bread on top of a baking sheet or aluminum foil. then bake it for about 5 minutes, until the cheese is all melted. sprinkle a bit of ground pepper on top, and it’s ready to be eaten. yummy!
aina loves cheese and keeps adding more and more cheese on top, so our pizza is a little bit over-cheesed. it was a hit in this house, nonetheless.
by the way, this should serve about 2 adults and one toddler.
