new york city was boiling today. i think it was 100 degrees out there. on the same hot day, ari, cia and i decided to walk around the crowded Soho to shop for LA clothing (what is LA clothing anyway?). yikes. bad. the air was muggy, the people were less tolerant, even those in the air-conditioned stores.
i ended up buying a few tank tops, and a flowy flowery skirt. is it LA enough? if you’re wondering why i keep talking about LA, we’re going there tomorrow to spend our superlong weekend. woohoo.
cia met up with joane, who was very nice, and we all went to Nyonya to have some hainanese chicken. with this whole LA going on thing, i kept thinking that this restaurant’s service is so New York… rude. but then again, it might be the heat.
i hope LA isn’t this hot.
