After taking a year and a half break, I’m back with the blue hair… The perm was fun, and I actually liked the way it grew out. But Singapore has gotten hotter and more stickier, so I need short and simple hair that doesn’t stick to my neck.
Two days ago, I went to see James — my go-to hair stylist — and he suggested a simple cut and go back to changing colors again… This time, the whole head coloring instead of just highlights, like he usually did. But I didn’t have the time to do a whole head coloring on Monday, so he only did the the cut for me. A short, bowl-like cut, which I really liked, especially the way he styled it… wispy and all!

Today, I was back at Leekaja SG, where James is currently at. Speaking of Leekaja, this salon is probably one of the fanciest I’ve ever been. They have the coolest waiting area, that I wish it was my living room…
And this is my breakfast: a glass of ginger tea, a banana, and two small soft chocolate kueh, courtesy of Leekaja while I had my hair done.
I was there since 10 in the morning, because all the bleaching and coloring would usually take around 3 hours to do. Since I just had my perm about 6 months ago, the cut didn’t eliminate all the curls. So, this morning, when my hair wasn’t blowdried straight, I could still see the curls here and there. I kinda liked it, though.

Anyway, as soon as I arrived, James started with the bleaching and turning me to orangey blond.

I always think I look weird with blonde hair…
Then, he asked me what color I wanted. He suggested pink, but I don’t know why, I didn’t feel like having pink. So, I went back to blue again. I guess, I really liked the way the blue looked back then, that I wanted it again. This time, with the whole head.

So, he started to put the color on… The dye on his bowl looked like white, but not long after being put on the hair, it started to turn blue. And it got darker and darker as the time passed.
And when it was washed, my hair turned dark blue!

I don’t know how long does this color would last, but I am really happy with the way it is… Although I guess, it will wash out within the next few days, and I will have a turquois head again… I hope not, though.
